A DAY OUT WITH THE GIRLS

Today was a good day it started at 9:00 this morning when the girls and i went to a REAL WOMEN'S EXPO, it started out raining and then it clear up. i was glad of that. i had never been to one and had a really good time. their were so many vendors there. they even had a SU DEMO and a CM Demo there. they had different classes all day long. i have to say i was disappointed in the class that i had. we stamped on candles. and the CM's one i didn't even go to. but we ended up walking around the whole building. they even had ice cream samples my favorite one was the sherbet one tropical island. and then we ended up at the cooking vendor we were going out to eat. but by the time we sample all of the cooking vendor's we were no longer hungry. they were giving away door prizes every hour but of course i didn't win any of them. the cooking vendor's really gave away some nice cookware.(that i would have loved to have) i could use some nice cookware. and then at the end of the day. they gave away a pearl ring a diamond ring and a 10,00.00 dollar watch why couldn't i have won the watch. then we all came home, like this morning when we walk out the door it was really cold and the wind was really blowing. we were going to go out put after we all got home and settle down no one wanted to do anything but rest we were all tired and wore out. girls i must say we must do this again sometimes. so until next time.

HOW SWEET IT IS

Good evening everyone hope you all had a nice day. here are a few cards that i made yesterday. my friend and i got together as always to make cards. as you can tell from the title that i love my cupcakes so i decided to make a cupcake card. i have several cupcake sets but have never used them until now. and i really like the looks of them. the second card is just one that i thought of off the top of my head. i think it really turn out really cute. so leave me a messenge and let me know what you think. until next time.

NICE FUN WEEKEND

Just got back from a NICE FUN WEEKEND my mom and i went to Nashville this weekend to spend some time with my sister. just got back last night and the weather here is really cold and it was raining. the weather there was really nice. we had a really good time.we had made plans to do some things but never got around to doing them. like going to the movies and to a comedy show. we went shopping tho and of course you know i had to do a little craft shoppin so i went to Joann's and bought up a bunch of things punches, paper, die cuts. etc now if i just used them (LOL) you know what i mean if any of you are like me you buy up an bunch of stuff then it takes you forever to use it. i need to make some cards anyway i have not made any in a good while. except the ones that i have done for my class. so this morning when i got up i clean up my craft room and but away my goodies.

HOME FROM THE ICE STORM

Yes, i am finally home from the ice storm and i am so glad to be home.i got home last night. it has been a month since the ice storm. and i am glad that it is over. even tho there is still much to be done with all the clean up and everything. my yard still looks like a jungle and so does the rest of the people around me. now hopefully i can try and get back to normal. the power is just about on for everyone they have about 70 more people to go. so until next time. i just want to say PRAISE THE LORD i am finally home.

ICE STORM UPDATE

went home the other day to take care of some business that i had to take care of and on my way back to my mom's i stop by the house to check my mail. and while i was there i just said let me go check and see if i have any power. and sure enough i do. so i am so thankful for that the only thing is i don't have any water yet but they say that should be done by Monday. and on top of that my mom didn't have any cable so we have just been watching 2 channels and this morning when i got up i just turn on the TV to see if she had some and what do u know she does. so we were thankful for that also.and hopefully i can get back to my stampin here really soon cause i have so much to do.like getting things ready for my stamp class this month which is in a couple of weeks. plus i miss making my cards. so now if everything can just get back to normal. which we know that is going to take a little while. it is so much to be cleaned up. so until next time everybody have a HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

ANOTHER STORM COMIN OUR WAY!!!!!!

You know when you think you are done with one thing then something else comes along. we are in for another storm tonight.it has been raining all day and now they are talking about another storm. they are talking about winds up to 35 miles an hr. starting at around 3:00 in the morning and lasting until 5:00 the next day so that means that means that we may be without power once again.(i still have no power from this ice storm that we just had and that was 2 wks ago yesterday) i am really getting tired and i am ready to go home.(i am at my mom's)if i have to go another week with this i think i will scream. but like my mom said i guess just be thankful that i have somewhere to stay because some people sitll don't have any place to stay or no power.so with that said until next time

ICE STORM IN KY (pt2)

Well here it is the end of the week and i still have no power. i thought that i would at least be home by now but no such luck. they are talking another week out where i live. so i guess i will be here at my mom's for another week. the thing about that is she has power but she has no cable, so u know i am really going crazy. so we are just looking at the four walls or either on the computer. i stay on my computer but even that gets old.the rest of my family that have power. the latetest one was my sister's her's came back on this morning. so maybe it want be to much longer for me. i sure hope not. they are getting it back on but very slowly, clean-up has begun. but my yard still looks like a jungle. i am going to have so much to do when it does come back on. but for now all i can do is wait. this is the time that i could be stampin and scrappin to bad i don't have anything to do it with. i just think the lord that my family is safe and that nobody got hurt. and i am praying for everyone and hope that this will all come to and end soon and things will get back to normal. even though i know it is going to be a mintue before things get that way

ICE STORM IN KY

I know most of you have heard by now that KY had an ice storm last week. and most of the residents lost power. most of it is back on but i still do not have any. i tell you it was like a ghost town not a hotel open any where not even a gas station people were packing up and leaving there homes really fast. trying to find somewhere to go, it was really scary. people were buying up all the generators and kosence heaters they could find we went to buy one while we were in TN. and the guy told us the closes place we would be able to fine one would be in atl..we ended up coming back home today. and everybody around me has power except me and a few of my neighbors and from the looks of it it is going to be a while before we have any(3-4 wks ) is what they are saying but i hope it really doesn't take that long tho. my mom and i just got back from TN. staying with my sister we have been down there all week long.it started with my mom they told her that she would be without power for 3-4 wks. and then it got turn around it is me who is going to be without. so that is how we ended up in tn. and they told me that my power would be back on weds. but when i got home today i still had none. and my front yard looks like a jungle i can't even walk through it it is so many trees and limbs and they haven't even begin the clean-up. so now i am at my moms house until i can get some. hope that it want be to much longer. you know you always hear about something like this on TV. but until you experience it you never know what the people are going through. i hope i never have to experience it again
